Workshops in Esthetic Dentistry

In response to the need to establish a hands on continuing education courses, the UPCD and UPDAA held workshops in cooperation with KERR on custom colorizing posterior composite restorations and fiber-reinforced composite resin restorations in the months of September and October, respectively. The participants included UPCD faculty member and officers of the UPDAA. It was held at the UPCD Operative Dentistry Laboratory.

Aside from faculty development, the objective of the workshop was to provide for a venue for discussion on the procedures being performed introduction of more recent technology. The participants are to conduct future workshops of the UP College of Dentistry. This marked the initial cooperation between the UPCD, UPDAA and KERR a dental company for faculty development. Other workshops’ being planned include esthetic buildup of anterior teeth and indirect composite resin restorations.
