An announcement from Dr. Warren Yow: Mon Aug 11, 2008 8:58 pm (PDT)

Dear Fellow UPCD alumni:

Dr. Daniel ChanPlease join me in congratulating Dr. Daniel Chan (batch
1978) in his appointment as Associate Dean for Clinical Services at School of
Dentistry, University of Washington. Dan has devoted his entire career (30
years and counting) in academics and research. We had crossed each other’s path
along the way during the International and American Association for Dental Research annual meetings. Dan is one of the many reasons that we are proud of
being a UPCD alumni and realize the value of a premier UPCD education. This
is also a good time to recognize all the past, present and future UPCD faculty
members whose many sacrifices (especially financial sacrifices) and
dedication made these accomplishments possible.  Please see following announcement released by the university (University of Washington).
